| Acupuncture Sanctuary is a 'family oriented' acupuncture clinic specializing in the treatment of acute illnesses and injuries as well as chronic health problems. Techniques for treatment normally include the traditional use of tiny needles inserted into specific points on the body, but may also incorporate the use of body work, or non-insertive, non-needling methods (e.g., surface stimulation, light, laser, heat, sound, qwasha, cupping, vibration) to achieve desired health benefits. Our practitioner has studied a variety of different styles of Acupuncture in order to offer more individualized care to every client. At Acupuncture Sanctuary we practice Chinese style of Acupuncture and believe that acupuncture has an important role to play in modern healthcare. As a comprehensive system, it can naturally and effectively treat a variety of health conditions and is a wonderful complement to western biomedicine. We believe incorporating both Acupuncture and western medicine offers the most effective options for treating many contemporary health issues. |
